IWE launches key industry database to highlight local capabilities and increase global market reach

Invest WindsorEssex/Media Release

Today, Invest WindsorEssex (IWE), the lead economic development organization for the Windsor-Essex region, launched a new key sector database, Source WindsorEssex.

This B2B database highlights the capabilities and products of local businesses operating in advanced manufacturing, automobility, agri-business, life sciences, transportation, logistics and warehousing and information and communication technology. The new custom platform provides easy navigation and responsiveness in a secure environment.

Highly searchable and categorized both by sector and municipality, Source WindsorEssex will provide businesses with high visibility and an instant global presence at no cost. This marketing tool will be used by trade commissioners, procurement specialists and supply chain development companies looking to invest in our region and companies looking for new suppliers.

In addition to the robust list of key sector companies already included in the database, all Windsor-Essex companies in the above listed industries are encouraged to create a free profile at sourcewindsoressex.com.

Profiles are easily created and maintained and allow companies to increase their online exposure as well as connect with other businesses to find suppliers, explore regional capabilities and collaborate on innovative projects. Source WindsorEssex also provides the opportunity for companies to include videos, news items and promotional materials. The main page will include a panel to highlight up to eight individual companies which will be rotated on a regular basis.

Invest WindsorEssex will continue to promote this regional tool locally, nationally and internationally to ensure maximum exposure for all listed companies.
