Essex County pita chips company to pitch on CBC’s Dragons’ Den

WINDSOR-ESSEX, ONT. (Oct. 30, 2023) –  Tecumseh, Ont. food manufacturer Cedar Valley is a featured business on this week’s episode of CBC’s Dragons’ Den.

Co-owners Ameen Fadel and Surria Fadel pitch their pita chips to the panel of investors on Dragons’ Den on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. The episode airs on CBC television and the CBC Gem streaming service.

To celebrate the airing of the Dragons’ Den episode, Cedar Valley is hosting a free public watch party at Belle River District High School. Ameen is a graduate of Belle River District High School, where he participated in the Student Ventures Entrepreneurship program facilitated by the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Centre. Cedar Valley has grown from a student-led business in 2015 to nationally recognized food manufacturer since it began working with the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Centre, a division of Invest WindsorEssex.
