Location

Located in Essex County along the north shore of Lake Erie, the Town of Kingsville has a unique location as the most southern town in Canada. The residents enjoy the warmest climate of any city in Ontario with average temperature reaches above 50°F (10°C) 223 days of the year.

The Town has easy access to:

  • Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway
  • Highway 401
  • Highway 3
  • Ambassador Bridge and the Gordie Howe International Bridge, connecting to the United States interstate highway system
  • International working harbour at the Port of Kingsville

Its Business Retention and Expansion (BR+E) Project report was developed to engage its business base to improve relationships with business owners/managers, identify and address any concerns, and improve business competitiveness.

Largest concentration of greenhouses

The Town of Kingsville is primarily an agricultural community. Neighbouring with the Municipality of Leamington, Kingsville shares in being home to the largest concentration of vegetable greenhouses in North America; producing tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, strawberries, flowers and potted plants.

Industrial land availability

Kingsville's industrial park is located at County Road 34 and Road 3 East. The property boasts 50 acres with full municipal services at the lot.

Tourism

The Town of Kingsville is in an area that is rich in things to do and see. You can relax and enjoy the parks, beaches and trails including the Chrysler Canada Greenway that interconnect with the National Waterfront Trail, or their popular festivals and events. There are sports and recreation programs for all ages to enjoy and a marina that offers dockage for boats of all sizes.

Downtown Kingsville

Downtown Kingsville has a quaint shopping and restaurant district that include charming and unique shops and a vibrant restaurant scene that includes an array of dining experienced from fine dining to farm-to-table style restaurants.

Craft Beer and Wine

Kingsville is home to several estate wineries including the largest in Canada, Pelee Island Winery. Come and sample some of the world-class craft beer making, you will find several taprooms here.
