The NextStar Energy investment is a prime indicator of our region’s skilled talent, manufacturing expertise and strategic market location.
IWE is proud to have supported this $5-billion investment that will secure thousands of direct and indirect future jobs for Windsor-Essex. This investment will help strengthen the economy and protect good quality local jobs for the region. Battery manufacturing in Windsor-Essex will also boost Ontario’s advanced manufacturing supply chain and skilled workforce and help meet the global demand for clean technologies.
