Get an overview of this tariff response initiative which is meant to support projects that would help companies boost their productivity, enhance competitiveness and reduce costs to mitigate the tariff impacts, and projects that enable greater resiliency among Canadian businesses through more robust domestic supply chains, enhanced internal trade, market diversification, and future-proofing operations. Through the RTRI, eligible businesses impacted by tariffs can request: $125,000 to $10 million in repayable funding where eligible project costs are shared between FedDev Ontario and the applicant as follows: FedDev Ontario to a maximum of 75% and the applicant a minimum of 25%. OR $125,000 to $1 million in non-repayable funding where eligible costs are shared between FedDev Ontario and the applicant as follows: FedDev Ontario to a maximum of 50% and the applicant a minimum of 50%.
