After working with Invest WindsorEssex’s Investment Attraction team for the past year, a global, one-stop procurement solution expert is setting up shop in the region.
SERVEONE is a direct service supplier to NextStar Energy, so it’s investing $2-million in a new 50,000 sq. ft. facility.
The company, which supplies procurement solutions from industrial parts to promotional materials, has already hired 12 full-time employees.
“At a time when every dollar counts, procurement specialists are a key support service that lends stability to industry,” said Tecumseh Mayor Gary McNamara.
Its base of operations is on Outer Drive in Tecumseh.
SERVEONE said the location will enhance its supply chain profile and increase its access to the global market.
“The region’s strategic location as a cross-border logistics and transportation hub, and Canada’s fastest growing EV supply chain, enhances SERVEONE Canada’s service capabilities and opportunities,” said a release.
Invest WindsorEssex started talking with SERVEONE last April, providing assistance with site selection and talent acquisition. It also worked with different levels of government to help the company access incentives and support programs.
