SimuTech Group, a simulation services company with specializations in visual and optical software services, is establishing a presence in Windsor, Ontario. SimuTech Group has hired a Virtual Reality CAVE Operator to be embedded at Canada’s largest Virtual Reality CAVE operated by the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation’s Institute for Border Logistics and Security. SimuTech Group has been a founding partner with the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation’s efforts as a Regional Technology Development Site in the Autonomous Vehicle Innovation Network (AVIN) led by the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE).
SimuTech Group’s decision to employ a full-time technical expert is intended to manage all technical aspects related to the Virtual Reality CAVE. Akash Charuvila, the VR CAVE Operator, will provide day-to-day technical advice to businesses, academia and others interested in better understanding the VR CAVE and its capabilities. Akash will be the go-to person for all demonstrations, scheduling time for companies to use the CAVE, helping to get projects kick-started using ANSYS software.
