Women in mobility at historic Streetcar No. 351 tour

Invest WindsorEssex was proud to take part and support WEtech Alliance’s Women in Mobility peer group tour at the beautifully restored Streetcar No. 351. Hosted in partnership with the City of Windsor and Museum Windsor, this unique event offered an inspiring look into the region’s transit history and the remarkable transformation of the historic Streetcar.

Our team enjoyed the opportunity to learn, connect and support the Women in Mobility initiative, highlighting Windsor’s role as a transportation innovator, from launching Canada’s first electric street railway to pioneering electric bus service in 1922.

We look forward to continuing our support of this important initiative and to future opportunities that celebrate innovation, history and community in Windsor-Essex. VISIT Streetcar No.351 at The Legacy Beacon on Windsor’s waterfront.
